2. On-line Entrance Loan Counseling for all first time borrowers at Antioch University McGregor.

3. A signed copy of your (and your spouse's if married) most recent tax form and all W-2's.

After the FAFSA is mailed, you will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR) in the mail approximately 4-6 weeks later. If Antioch University McGregor was listed in Step 6, your information will be electronically sent to the Financial Aid Office. Once we have all the required paperwork listed in the above steps, we will send you an Award Letter. This Award Letter will show your total eligibility at the time of processing. If you asked for a lesser loan amount than what is showing, we will mail you a revised Award Letter at a later date.

The Loan Process

Antioch University McGregor participates in the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) for both undergraduate and graduate students. As an undergraduate student, you may be eligible for federal and state grants. Student loans can be used to supplement these grants which can be used for tuition and fees, books and supplies, miscellaneous, living and transportation.

In order to provide better service, Antioch University McGregor uses Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) services through participating lenders which allows you to receive your loan funds faster. If you do not choose a participating lender through Great Lakes Higher Education Corporation, your loan funds may arrive in the form of a check, and can delay disbursement of funds by 2-3 weeks.

Once all loans have been certified electronically, your lender and/or guarantor will mail you a promissory note to sign and return. Any changes can be made on the promissory note before returning it to your lender and/or guarantor.

Student loan funds are disbursed each quarter. The number of disbursements you receive will depend upon the number of quarters you are enrolled.
