Required Materials
In order to apply for admission to our
academic programs, the following information is required:
All Applicants:
- A completed application
and fee
- Transcripts from all institutions
of higher learning previously attended. You should arrange
to have official transcripts (with the institutions seal)
sent directly from the institution to Antioch University McGregor
Admissions Office.
- Credentials in the form
of diplomas or certifications that do not provide detailed
transcript information should either be the original copy or
a certified copy, and include the institutions
description of course studies.
- Documents mailed outside
the United States and Canada should be sent to the University
by registered mail. Diplomas and certificates that are issued
only once will be returned by registered mail at your request.
- If the documents are in
a language other than English, both the original document and
a certified translation must be submitted.
- Two references. References
should be submitted from persons (excluding relatives) who
currently know you and understand the kind of academic interests
you wish to pursue. Please have the reference use the form
included with the application materials. Whenever possible,
references should be provided by someone familiar with your
academic work. At least one of the references should be from
a practitioner in your field (an educator, an employer, or
a colleague) who can address your ability to pursue the academic
work for which you are applying.
Undergraduate Applicants (The
Undergraduate Studies):
- A writing assessment (form
is included with the application package).
Graduate Applicants:
- A statement describing educational
goals. You should give this statement considerable thought,
since we depend on its clarity and consistency for our admissions
decision. Youll find a form for this statement in the
application materials.
- An up-to-date resumé which
details educational and professional experiences.
Application materials are included in
the applicant handbook, or as a downloadable
PDF file. Questions or concerns regarding the application
process may be addressed to the Enrollment
Services Manager.
