Conflict Resolution Education for Teachers (CRETE)

Reduce negative student behavior and improve classroom climate. Develop skills in handling conflict in an educational environment. Designed primarily
for in-service and pre-service teachers, skills learned are applicable across the
profession of education. Students who complete all four days of training will receive a certificate from the Ohio Commission on Dispute Resolution, three
graduate credits, and a grade specific (K-8) or (7-12) resource guide with
hundreds of activities to build conflict resolution skills with students.
Faculty: Tricia Jones, Ph.D., is Professor of Adult and Organizational Development,
Psychological Studies in Education, at Temple University. She is the
editor of many books and is Project Director for the CRETE program.
* Life Long Learning Discount: Individuals who have earned a Bachelors degree already are eligible to take undergraduate courses for credit at half the regular tuition.
