The mission of the ILPS program is to guide students in the development and completion of individualized degree programs. We encourage ongoing personal, professional and cultural learning, and creative, artistic and analytic expression.
Our students have earned degrees in the following fields of study- and it is possible to design degree programs in other areas as well:
* For these concentrations we offer already designed courses- listed in our course catalogue.
In a supportive student centered learning environment, we challenge students to develop a critical, reflective and global consciousness. We promote the integration of theory and practice, application and engagement. We believe that these aims need to be grounded in an awareness of, sensitivity to and respect for our shared humanity in a culture that welcomes diverse ways of knowing and being.
Students who thrive in the ILPS program are self-directed, reflective and committed to social, organizational and personal change.
