At Antioch University McGregor we encourage and promote development of integrative curricula that experiment with ways of knowing, being, feeling, doing and relating that give justice to a multitude of social, cultural and philosophical traditions.
Integral Knowledge Systems (IKS) is an academic space, with origins in Individualized Liberal and Professional Studies (ILPS) program, designed to encourage, motivate, and support learners interested in designing their interdisciplinary curricula that value the integration of mind, heart and spirit. Students interested in designing a graduate program of study within the spirit of IKS program follow a similar program structure to those pursuing the Liberal Arts. IKS courses are also available to any degree seeking students within the ILPS program and may be utilized within their curriculum plans as appropriate to their majors.
Integral Knowledge Systems emphasizes and reflects Antioch’s cherished values of life-long learning, rigorous inquiry, personal and social transformation through knowledge, and respect for cultural and global diversity.
