As a working father
of three and an active poet, part-time teacher, and full-time state
employee, John Kennedy's works have been published in Yankee
Magazine, The Christian Science Monitor, America, College English,
The Chicago Review, Poet Lore, Tar River Poetry, The Seattle Review,
Cimarron Review, and many other national publications, including
the 1997 edition of the Anthology of Magazine Verse & Yearbook
of American Poetry.
John is now well on his way to becoming a nationally recognized poet and writer,
and is an adjunct assistant professor of English at Quinnipiac College, in
Hamden, CT, where he was hired a month prior to graduating from the IMA Program
at Antioch University McGregor.

John's poetry chapbook, How To Be
A Witness, has just been published by Picadilly Press, Arkansas.
John also won the TWO RIVERS REVIEW poetry contest in 2000. He will
have poems forthcoming in PRAIRIE SCHOONER in 2001.
