Biographical Information
Dr. Michele M. Nobel joined the faculty at AUM in 2005. Dr. Nobel’s collegiate experiences included teaching various courses to pre-service and in-service special education teachers, advising Masters candidates on research projects, supervising student teachers, and conducting research with middle school students at-risk for failure. She has seven years of special education teaching experience in urban and suburban public schools in Central Ohio. She has taught students with a range of disabilities from mild to severe, grades K through 8, in inclusive, resource room, and self-contained settings. Dr. Nobel has conducted workshops and presentations on strategies to accommodate and modify instruction for students with disabilities, classwide peer tutoring, and strategies to increase active student responding. In her spare time, Michele can be found at any Ohio State University sporting event.
