Teaching and Administrative Positions

Currently Chair of Humanities and General Education, Undergraduate Program, at Antioch University McGregor. During his thirty year college career, Jim has taught Anthropology at Antioch College, Cultural Studies at the American University of Beirut, Linguistics at the University of Constantine (in Algeria) as well as World Classics and other interdisciplinary courses at Antioch University McGregor. Jim co-directed a summer program in World Order Studies at the Landegg Academy in Switzerlnd for seven years and a World Peace Summer Programme at Townshend International School in Czech Republic, now in its third year. Jim has served as consultant, guest speaker, and workshop presenter at a variety of universities, conferences, and organizations on subjects related to the Middle East, intercultural relations and holistic approaches in higher education.
