complete the form for that area by comparing it to your
transcripts. Coursework may only be counted if it was
taken at the 100 level or above and if you received a
final grade of C or higher.

Early
Childhood Education & M.Ed. (ECE) (Grades
PK-3)
General Education Requirements
In order to apply for this area
the applicant must have a minimum of 36 quarter credits
and meet six of eight categories, including one in
the sciences.
Mild
to Moderate Intervention Specialist & M.Ed. (
EDS) (Grades
K-12)

Adolescent & Young
Adult - AYA (Grades
7-12)

and meet six of eight categories, including one in

Content Requirements
In order to be considered for acceptance
into the Teacher Licensure program you must have a
minimum of 30 quarter credits in the area of Adolescent
Young Adult (AYA) Licensure you wish to teach. Additional
hours will be necessary to meet all state content requirements
for Licensure. Possible content areas are listed below.
For AYA science areas below experience may be counted
towards content. Please note experience on evaluation
form and you may be asked for documentation.
Middle
Childhood Education & M.Ed. (MCE) (Grades
4-9)
General Education Requirements
In order to apply for this area the
applicant must have a minimum of 36 quarter credits and
meet six of eight categories, including one in the sciences.

Content Requirements
In order to be considered for acceptance
into the Teacher Licensure program applicants must have
a minimum of 30 quarter credits one content area and 15
quarter credits in a second content area. Additional
hours will be necessary to meet all state content requirements
for Licensure. Possible content areas are listed below.
Middle
Childhood Applicants must have TWO Concentrations.
Step III. Compare your completed
coursework to the required coursework according to
the McGregor content course requirement transcript
evaluation form.
