Graduate Certificate and Master students will participate in a field placement or internship (Practicum) utilizing professional opportunities within their communities. Practicum experiences are intended to allow students to develop new skills, advance current skills, gain a deeper understanding about the application of theory to practice, and broaden the experience in the field generally.
Practica will include mediation, may include other areas of intervention such as facilitation, negotiation, and conciliation, and may include areas of conflict resolution professional practice such as training design, dispute resolution system design or program implementation and assessment.
