Master of Arts Conflict Resolution - BE THE DIFFERENCE

AUM!

Frequently Asked Questions

I work full time and have a family.  Is this really doable?

At Antioch McGregor, we recognize that you have multiple responsibilities to your work, your family, and your community.  We’ve developed this program specifically for adult learners taking into consideration their lifestyles.

  • You will be able to maximize your learning time with three residencies (each six days long) and online courses.  The online courses are “asynchronous” – meaning that you are not required to be online at the same time as your classmates and professors.  This affords you the flexibility to work when you are at your best: early mornings before heading off to work, evenings after the kids are in bed, or weekends when you can make some time to study.
  • Three levels of support are built into this program:
    1. You will be part of a cohort or the same group of classmates going through the program together enabling peer support.
    2. A faculty member in the Conflict Resolution department will advise you throughout your program.
    3. The Program Specialist and the Program Administrator will assist you with administrative details and the processing of your completed coursework.

Our goal is to help students graduate--we all share in everyone’s success.

To answer you directly, "Yes! It is definitely doable."

My budget is tight. How can I pay for this program, and how much does it cost?

Many employers have programs that reimburse employees for at least a portion of their tuition costs.  You might ask your Human Resources Department about tuition reimbursement and other employee educational benefits.

There is also the option of tuition assistance in the form of federal subsidized and unsubsidized student loans. Please take a moment to visit the Financial Aid Information area of our website.

Please see the following link for tuition and fees.

I have never taken an online or a distance learning type course before. I am wondering if this degree is accredited and will attending a non-graded program affect my chances for admission to a doctoral program.

At Antioch University McGregor we have been highly selective about the types of programs we offer at a distance and have ensured that the same academic standards are applied to this program as are applied to our on-campus classroom offerings.
