AUM Alumna Lana Rotellini Receives Third Telly Award
Yellow Springs, Ohio—Lana Rotellini, co-owner of Global Impact Productions, Inc., a large-scale event planning company, has won her third bronze Telly Award. This year’s award was presented for her creative five-minute promotional video, “Wings over Coshocton,” a piece for an upcoming air show. Rotellini has been awarded two previous Telly’s, one for the 2002 live televised 911 remembrance show, “Let Freedom Reign,” and for scriptwriting the live televised 2004 Miss Ohio pageant, “Celebration.
Founded in 1978, the Telly Award is the premier award honoring the most respected production houses of local, regional, and cable TV for commercials, programs, videos, and films. With over 12,000 worldwide annual entries, there are two award levels; the Silver Telly is the highest honor earning a 9.0 or higher score out of 10, and the Bronze Telly is awarded to entries scoring 7.0 to 8.9. This year’s Silver Award winners include: Universal Studios, Walt Disney Studios, Spike TV, E! Entertainment TV, PBS, Radio Television Hong Kong, Black Entertainment TV, QVC, Sony BMG, and Time Warner Cable Media.
Rotellini said, “I am honored to be acknowledged. Simply to be mentioned in the same company with those who have won honors is humbling and serves as an inspiration for future endeavors.” Rotellini holds a B.A. in Humanities and M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Antioch University McGregor where she is an adjuct professor teaching senior project in the Undergraduate Studies program.
