Antioch University McGregor Commencement to Feature Keynote Presentation by
Bill Pardue, Qbase Chairman and CEO
Yellow Springs, Ohio – Antioch University McGregor will hold its commencement on Sunday, June 24 at 2 p.m. at the Benjamin and Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center in downtown Dayton. McGregor is honored to welcome Bill Pardue - Chairman and CEO of Qbase and former President, CEO and Chief Global Product Officer at LexisNexis - as the keynote speaker.
Bill Pardue’s leadership at LexisNexis created two Internet flagship products, lexis.com and nexis.com, and significantly broadened products and services for the federal government, ranging from Homeland Security to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. He has also served as the director of marketing at The Washington Post and president of Gartner Intelligence, a unit of the global IT market research firm Gartner, Inc. Pardue currently leads Qbase, an information-technology company and one of the fastest-growing businesses in Ohio. He is a member of the American and District of Columbia bar associations and serves on the Board of Trustees for the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra.

At the June commencement, more than 250 students will join the esteemed ranks of McGregor alumni who are successfully contributing to the betterment of companies and communities around the world. McGregor’s adult learners will be awarded Bachelor of Arts and master’s degrees along with post-graduate Ohio principal licensure certificates. Opening remarks at the commencement ceremony will be delivered by Arthur J. Zucker, Chairman of the Board, Antioch University and Barbara Gellman-Danley, Ph.D., President of Antioch University McGregor.
Antioch University McGregor was established in 1988. McGregor’s approach to education stems from Antioch University’s historical emphasis on intellectual, emotional and ethical development. The principles promoted by Douglas McGregor, president of Antioch College from 1948-1954, still guide Antioch University McGregor’s approach to lifelong learning. Douglas McGregor was well recognized for his teachings in participatory management and leadership as well as his belief that organizational effectiveness is dependent upon the cooperative efforts of the entire community.
Antioch University McGregor contributes to the betterment of the individual and the community by fostering academic excellence and providing socially responsive, flexible and innovative education programs for adult learners. McGregor features a wide array of bachelor’s degree completion programs, master’s programs in conflict resolution, management and education and also individualized liberal and professional studies programs.
