Venerable Molini is a Burmese Buddhist nun in the Theravadan tradition, ordained in Burma in 1983. She holds a PhD from Magadh University in India in Buddhism focusing on the history of the Bhikkuni Sangha.
Venerable Dhamma Vijaya is a Nepali Buddhist nun in the Theravadan tradition, ordained in Los Angeles in 1988. She holds a PhD in Buddhist Feminism from Magadh University in India.
Speaking several languages, the sisters have taught meditation and Buddhist philosophy in the US and Southeast Asia.

- 11:30 – 12: 30 – Talk followed by a small meditation
This event is organized by two AUM programs - Health and Wellness (BA) and Integral Knowledge Systems (MA).
The Health and Wellness major provides a wide basis of understanding of how integrated medicine functions, what creates good health and how cultural differences impact health care. This major addresses the current need for societal understanding that health is much more than the absence of disease.
Integral Knowledge Systems (IKS) is an academic “space” designed to encourage, motivate, and support learners interested in designing interdisciplinary curricula that value the integration of mind, heart and spirit and that incorporate various ways of knowing and being. The philosophy and practice of Integral Yoga, which is based on a broad understanding of yoga as a process of conscious evolution, have been the foundation for the development of IKS.
