The School of Education at Antioch University McGregor is seeking applicants with a strong P – 12 background and a commitment to teaching excellence for our expanding graduate licensure programs. The School of Education is accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education. This position begins July 1, 2008.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach
- Advise
- Supervise and evaluate student teachers
- Serve on department and school-wide committees
- Review applications and interview candidates for program
- Engage in on-going research in field of specialization
- Participate in professional associations
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of six years of public school experience
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Commitment to diverse classroom environments
- Master’s degree required; doctorate preferred but ABD nearing completion will be considered
- Ohio licensure preferred
